Who are Shine On Auto Detailing
Shine On Auto Detailing is a fully insured, passionately committed company offering premium detailing services. It is run and owned by myself, Paul Townsend. I am independent, not directly associated with any other detailing company or franchise, offering a fully mobile service or the option of a secure workshop in Godstone, Surrey, should you wish to leave your car. Measured purely by the results achieved and the satisfaction of my customers, I strive to maintain my position as one of the best car detailers in the industry.
As a recognised expert, I was asked to assist with a consumer item for Channel Five’s Fifth Gear programme, looking at car washes for those that don’t wish to do it themselves. You can see the video if you click here, and I have also been a guest on the BBC Radio Berkshire Sarah Walker show talking about my work.
I have chosen to offer Swissvax treatments and products to provide the best finish possible on your car. After passing the rigorous assessment process, I am proud be a Swissvax Authorised Detailer, using the very finest products available.
Based in the South of England, concentrating on offering detailing in Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, I regularly also work throughout the UK. Such is my reputation, I have also carried out work in France, Holland, Switzerland and Monaco. Anywhere is viable and if you happen to have a special car or collection of cars you would like detailed anywhere in Europe, please get in touch.
Offering a wide range of detailing services tailored to suit your needs, including ongoing maintenance packages, I pride myself in offering unsurpassed levels of quality. Exceeding your expectations to leave a long lasting lustrous finish that will be easy to maintain is my motivation. I can also supply products to assist you with this, and as much advice and support as you need.
Please take a moment to look through the website at some examples of my work, references are gladly supplied. It is worth noting that all photographs on this site are of cars I have carried out work on, there are no library shots used whatsoever.

“Paul from Shine On Auto Detailing visited me to perform some minor cleanup work on some scratches on a coseted weekend car. I was amazed that he managed to remove a scratch on the boot that I presume was inflicted by a ring, scratching the paintwork – previously I had thought that the only way to remove it would have been a respray of that body panel.”
