Swissvax Best of Show for a unique Bentley

This stunning and uniquely coloured Bentley was booked in for its annual detail and freshen up, and for the first time the owner chose Swissvax for his car. Rarely driven, always garaged and thoroughly loved, I knew that under the surface dirt it was in generally good condition, rather fortunate as time was very much of the essence for this job. As the car was only available for a limited time, I was not able to get as many pictures of this beautiful car as I’d have liked.

Rather dirty at the start, first task was to get it clean. A good pre-soak with a citrus degreaser was enough to cut through the grime, leaving a careful hand wash to pick up what was left.

The 20” wheels needed some careful attention, using a non-acidic wheel cleaner and a variety of brushes to get them clean inside and out.

Once clean, it was apparent only the lower sides needed claying to remove some light contamination, otherwise it was pretty much spotless with just a light sprinkling of swirls. This was very welcome news knowing how hard Bentley paint is!

This picture isn’t as clear as I’d have liked, but is of a 50/50 on the wing, where you can just about see the line beyond which was polished, nearest to the camera wasn’t. It was achieved using a slightly heavier cut finishing polish that left a perfectly burnished surface.

Once polishing was complete, the whole car was treated with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid on using finishing pad on the rotary polisher, this was then followed up with Best Of Show wax to compliment the colour, really showing off the depth and wetness.

Whilst curing, the glass was cleaned using Crystal, chrome polished, tyres dressed with Pneu and alloys covered in Zaino CS sealant. Finally, just enough time to wipe over the interior surfaces and give it a thorough vacuum.

Just able to catch the setting sun, I was very pleased with the result, and more importantly, so was the owner.
