“Paul at Shine On has detailed three cars for me.
Car One – Metallic Dark grey/Blue Golf TDi. This car is my father in laws & its his baby, he’s totally adores it. Its a couple of years old & was showing some signs of road abuse and having seen Paul’s work in picture I felt confident he could work wonders on this car. My father in law was a little nervous but Paul explained clearly and concisely what he was going to do and the results were tremendous. The father in law was very pleased and said he felt like he was driving a new car. Also, aftercare tips from Paul were helpful regarding types of cleaning product & washmitt etc.
Car Two – Silver metallic Volvo V70 Estate 55 plate. This is my fathers car & he does fair to heavy mileage but regulary washes & waxes his car. Paul spent ages on this car purely cause of the size it was getting dark when he finally finished, the mirror finish on the surface had to be seen in daylight the next day to be believed. Dad was well pleased with it and still raves on about “how easy it is to wash now”. He is also going to re-book Paul for a “spruce up” sometime this spring.
Car Three – Royal Blue Volvo V40 Estate S plate. This is my car and its paint was knackered, abuse thrown at it my me driving it up lanes with hedges scratching the sides etc. Basically the paintwork looked dull, scratched & not really reflective at all. The photos I have don’t do the job justice, the dark colour really showed the scratches & consequently, it was very obvious when all but the deepest ones were gone. My car looked so clean & shiny I was shocked how bad it had been. You know how you wash your car look at it wet and say “its not too bad”. Well it almost looked wet after Paul had finished. Even the wife was impressed!.
Overall an excellent three days work from a devoted car lover, polite, courteous and generally a good laugh. I have recommended Shine On to many people, its worth every penny to see your car look good again, if its a special car then even better!. One tip – make sure you have lots of coffee to hand Paul likes to be well lubricated whilst he works.”
